:: SERAPHITES
I MET A FALSE ANGEL WHO CLAIMED THEY WOULD DELIVER PRAYERS TO THE DEIVINE WHILE KEEPING ALL EYES ON THEM.
- Seraphim + Parasite → Seraphite
- Seraphites are parasitic creatures that mimic humans.
- Their wings wrap around their heart like parasitic plants and extend throughout their body.
- They are categorized as either Seraph or Broken based on their outward appearance.
Seraph → Seraphites with 3 pairs of parasitic wings who are relatively friendly
Broken → Unstable Seraphites with cracks and corroded holes(void) in their body, with more than 3 pairs of wings
- They sustain their lives by listening to prayers. Seraphs are affected by prayers of blessing, while Broken are influenced by strong prayers related to defects. Their best source of nourishment is the mind of a being experiencing fear. (Both types can use unstable minds as life energy)
- They cannot die unless their heart is broken. When the central wing wrapping their heart is pulled out, the accumulated prayers are granted and the Seraphite meets its end. The 'Broken' exist between life and death, and do not die even when their heart breaks.
- They are born from things humans consider insignificant. They form their bodies while observing the world from blind spots. They shape their appearance by choosing one thing they liked from what they saw when they were young. If what they choose is too much for their heart to bear, cracks form in their body and they become a 'Broken' entity.
- Seraphite wings typically consist of two small pairs on the skull and pelvis, and one large pair wrapping around the heart. In the case of 'Broken' entities, wings may also emerge from the cracks in their body.
- They can speak human languages and enjoy communicating with humans. However, those who encounter these beings with their naked eyes suffer severe mental trauma due to supernatural terror.
